Within the broadcast industry, Hitachi Kokusai Electric is highly focused on the rapidly increasing digital and high-definition field. In addition to the introduction of newly developed advanced digital high definition cameras HKE’s digital camera back is helping drive tapeless acquisition in ENG/EFP production. The Z-DR1 digital recorder docks to current models of cameras and uses a removable Mediapac, based on HardTape technology. The system improves the production workflow by allowing the removal of the Mediapac HDD and using it directly with your editing system, avoiding digitizing, transfers and capturing.
