Audavi is proud to partner with High Density Devices AS to offer a wide variety of standard and custom encryption solutions for protecting "data-at-rest". The patented [hiddn] crypto-module provides the core for a wide variety of products all utilizing the NSA-approved 256-AES encryption algorithm. The [hiddn] crypto-module is the only commercially available technology to have achieved validation at FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and Common Criteria EAL 4+. The core encryption algorithms carry a seperate FIPS certificate. The [hiddn] technology employs a hardware-based "bump-in-the-wire" approach that provides full-disk-encryption for "data-at-rest". The crypto-module is compatible with all operating systems, requires no software or drivers, and does not utilize any system CPU or memory resources. Audavi offers a wide variety of storage solutions employing the [hiddn] crypto-module and also can provide custom designs incorporating the technology in to your existing systems. Audavi maintains a "key management system" and can customize ey parameters and attributes includes setting key lifetime, read-only / write only keys, up to 32 different AES 256 bits encryption keys per user, custom Master Boot Record, forensic capabilities and split key functionality.

Within the broadcast industry, Hitachi Kokusai Electric is highly focused on the rapidly increasing digital and high-definition field. In addition to the introduction of newly developed advanced digital high definition cameras HKE’s digital camera back is helping drive tapeless acquisition in ENG/EFP production. The Z-DR1 digital recorder docks to current models of cameras and uses a removable Mediapac, based on HardTape technology. The system improves the production workflow by allowing the removal of the Mediapac HDD and using it directly with your editing system, avoiding digitizing, transfers and capturing.
